Authorship Criteria

Authorship eligibility should be contingent upon substantial contributions to the conception, design, data acquisition, analysis, or interpretation of the study, in accordance with the guidelines established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

All individuals listed as authors must have made significant intellectual contributions to the study and must have actively participated in the drafting or revising of the manuscript. Contributors who do not meet the criteria for authorship but have provided valuable assistance should be duly acknowledged in the acknowledgment section.

The practice of honorary or guest authorship, where individuals are included as authors without making meaningful contributions, is strongly discouraged. Any concerns or issues related to authorship or contributorship, including instances of ghost authorship, guest authorship, and other distortions, will be addressed in accordance with COPE Guidelines.

Corresponding authors bear the responsibility of ensuring that all co-authors have reviewed and approved the final version of the manuscript and are responsible for maintaining communication with the editorial team throughout the publication process.

Changes in authorship, including additions, deletions, or rearrangements, must be agreed upon by all affected authors and communicated to the editorial team with appropriate justifications. The City University International Journal of Computational Analysis (CUIJCA) does not support changes to the author list, including additions and deletions, after the editorial process has begun.

Authors are required to provide complete information on the contribution agreement form, including name, designation, affiliation, address, email, contact number, and ORCID ID. Any present addresses for individual authors that differ from the address(es) where the work was conducted should be clearly indicated in a note at the bottom of the first page. Failure to provide comprehensive information may result in the rejection of the manuscript.

Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest and financial disclosures within the manuscript.
