Analysis and Optimization of An Existing Facility Location
Abstract
This paper analyzes and optimizes the existing facility location. Linear Programming is a part of mathematical programming that deals with the optimization problems having objective functions and constraints. There are different methods to solve a linear programming problem such as graphical method, vector method, simplex method etc. Among all the methods, simplex method is considered as the most simple and powerful method. In this research study, simplex method of linear programming is used to optimize the existing location based on valid factors. Later, the results are verified through MATLAB software.
